Economic Development
Regular PMDD (Economic Development) Meeting date is the 1st Wednesday morning of every month at the Presidio City Hall Conference Room at 6:00 p.m.
The City of Presidio, Texas welcomes new business on the International Border of Texas and Mexico. The Presidio – Ojinaga Port is open 24/7. It is the only international crossing between El Paso and Del Rio. Travel into Mexico is easy with short crossing times for tourist and commercial traffic.
The Big Bend Region is a major tourist destination. The largest State Park in Texas, Big Bend Ranch State Park and Big Bend National Park and Presidio is the western entry to both parks. FM 170 or the River Road has been named one of the Top 10 Scenic Drives in North America by National Geographic Magazine.
